Exchange Afternoons are twice-yearly gatherings in Brisbane that brings together the South-East Queensland arts community to share, observe, and discuss ideas-in-progress. Each session is curated by a guest choreographer or artistic facilitator and features two to three dance or physical theatre artists presenting their work in a way that feels authentic to them.
The broader community is invited to watch and engage in a facilitated feedback session, offering constructive and considered responses to the artists’ work. Exchange Afternoons are designed to foster critical discourse, peer-to-peer learning, and meaningful connections across the local arts sector.
These afternoons provide a supportive space for experimentation, community building, and research, while giving artists and audiences the chance to connect, share ideas, and strengthen Brisbane’s dance and physical theatre network.
