Is suitable for
Emerging or established artists, with a disability-led practice, looking to deep dive into an existing project or body of work.
Research or art-form development around a new project related to physical practice or dance.
Artists or Collectives who are operationally un-funded.
Artists outside of Metro Brisbane and Interstate, who are working and collaborating with Brisbane/Queensland Creatives in key artist roles.
What artists receive
2 weeks of residency in studio space.
A cash contribution of $8000 per project.
Optional: Professional support from Studio1 Director and Program Manager: Dramaturgy, Choreographic process, Producing, Budgets and Community and industry engagements.
Access to technical and venue equipment.
Industry connection to and support from Undercover Artist Festival.
A Work in Progress showing with invited guests and industry.
Automatic consideration for future Undercover Artist Festival Programming.
When and where
One residency is offered annually at Studio1 in Meanjin Brisbane.
