In-Studio Residencies are funded creative residencies, providing dedicated time and space for artists to research, experiment and develop new or existing ideas.
Who it’s for
Each residency includes two weeks of studio access at Studio1 and a cash contribution of $6,000 per project. Artists may also access optional professional support from the Studio1 Director and Producer, including dramaturgy, choreographic process support, producing advice, budgeting and industry engagement. Technical and venue equipment is available.
What artists receive
Two residencies are offered each year, each running for two weeks at Studio1 in Meanjin/Brisbane.
